Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), a popular course among both male and female candidates. It is a 2 -year duration course is perfect for those who have an inclination towards teaching. The basic qualification needed for B.Ed is graduation. However, candidates who have done post-graduation can also apply for it.

B.Ed Course Duration & Eligibility

  • 2 –year [Full-Time or Distance Learning]
  • Candidates should have passed or appeared for qualifying examination

In any Bachelor’s Degree I.e. B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, B.Sc (Home Science), BCA, BBM, B.A (Oriental Languages), BBA, Master’s Degree, or in the B.E/B.Tech securing at least 50% aggregate marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto.

B.Ed Admission

For admission in B.Ed course, There is no national level entrance examination. candidates have to appear for entrance examinations organized by various states, universities, and colleges.

Scope after Completing B.Ed

After completing B.Ed, candidate can get job in government, as well as, a private school with a good salary package. candidate can also get a job at Secondary or Higher Secondary Schools as a Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) or PGT teacher.

To enhance chances of being appointed as a teacher, candidates can give competitive exams like Common Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) and National Eligibility Test (NET) or SET’s.

Interested candidates can also pursue Master of Education (M.Ed) after the completion of B.Ed.
